Otthon Centrum Franchising Kft. (hereinafter: Otthon Centrum) informs persons who register on the www.oc.hu page about personal data to be processed, its own practice regarding the management of personal data, the organisational and technical measures taken for the protection of personal data and the rights of the stakeholders.

Our data management practice is based on Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information.

By registering or sending a “search notification”, visitor gives his/her consent to the management of his/her data by Otthon Centrum, for purposes specified in the present information note.

2. Purpose of data management:

  • provision of online services by Otthon Centrum (e.g. sending notifications matching the searches),
  • provision of information for the purpose of direct marketing, newsletters, subject to your special consent in the framework of your registration, given by checking the respective box on the webpage,
  • preparation of market research, analyses, subject to your special consent in the framework of your registration, given by checking the respective box on the webpage,
  • 3. Legal basis of data management

    The legal basis for data management is the voluntary consent of the persons having registered on the www.oc.hu page.

    4. Period of data management

    Data management starts on the day of the registration or the day when the request for notifications was sent and lasts until the date of the withdrawal of the registration or of the consent to notifications.

    5. Operator of the website

    The www.oc.hu website is operated by Otthon Centrum Franchising Kft. (official address: 1023 Budapest, Lajos utca 28-32.), the data are stored on the safe server of www.oc.hu. Otthon Centrum does not forward personal data provided by visitors to third persons.

    6. Rights of the stakeholders

    A person having registered has the right to request information any time about their personal data managed by Otthon Centrum; furthermore, has the right to request correction, modification or deletion of those data. Deletion of the registration may be requested by clients through the Contact menu item or by sending a message to the email address ugyfelszolgalat@oc.hu. Otthon Centrum meets the request within the shortest period of time from its submission, but no later than within 15 days, in line with its content.

    Electronic newsletters, other advertisements are sent by Otthon Centrum from the email address hirlevel@oc.hu. Our clients can prohibit the sending of further newsletters by clicking on the unsubscribe link (www.oc.hu/unsubscribe) at the bottom of our newsletters. In the case of other online services (such as sending notification messages about a search), a given service can be stopped by clicking on the link at the bottom of the notification message received, and registered users can do so if logged on to the interface. We call the attention of our clients that whenever a client wishes to prohibit the sending of further email newsletters or intends to stop one of the online services, the unsubscription shall be done in respect of each and every email address provided earlier.

    7. Legal remedy

    A registered person who suffered any harm in connection with the management of their data may submit a petition to the National Data Protection and Information Freedom Authority or may initiate a lawsuit at the competent tribunal, according to his/her residence (place of stay).
